-
What should I expect at my first visit? You will meet with Dr. Lelwica one-on-one, either in person or virtually Dr. Lelwica will have reviewed all of your intake information so she will be very familiar with your health status and situation before you meet in order to make the most productive use of your time together. Sometimes you will be asked for additional info before your first visit. You will go through your current history, past medical history, family history, review of medicines, vitamins and supplements as well as assessment of your nutritional and lifestyle path. Dr. Lelwica will want to know where you’ve been, what you have done and where you want to go. Together we will come up with a plausible idea of what the root cause of your current health status is and a plan to get your health back.
-
How much does my first visit Initial Intake cost?Dr. Lelwica will review your intake and any other lab reports/medical records/documents you have sent before your visit. In addition. That, along with your first visit scheduled for an hour, costs $329.

Do I still need my Primary Care Physician?ABSOLUTELY! In fact, Dr. Lelwica will require that you have and continue your relationship with your primary care provider. Your PCP will be your main physicial for your annual physicals, etc. While most PCP are focusing on the treatment of disease, your Functional Medicine physician is focused on root cause of that disease and turning the trajectory to avoid or reverse disease.
-
Do I stop taking my medications?NO! The only individual who can tell you to stop taking your medications is the prescribing doctor. If you plan to stop taking any medication on your own, please notify the prescribing doctor. Also, keep in mind that all Functional Medicine doctors do not prescribe prescription medicine. Dr. Lelwica does not, and works with others if you need that or works with your PCP physician for pharmacy prescribing needs.
-

We believe our business model is very fair in that when you book an appointment, you will pay a $50 deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, that is refunded. If within the 48 hours and we can fill it with someone else, you will also be refunded.
-
